ادوارد مويبرديدج (بالإنجليزية:Eadweard Muybridge))، عالم بريطاني من أصل هولندي، من مواليد 9 أبريل 1830م وتوفي بتاريخ 8 مايو 1904م، كان رائدا لأولى التجارب لتحريك الصور، وعاش فترة حياته في مدينة سان فرانسيسكو.[1]
حياته [عدل]
ولد "إدوارد مويبريدج" في 9 إبريل 1830 م وقد عاش معظم حياتة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكان كعادتة مثير للاهتمام الكبير بإبداعاته الفنية. وقد غير إسمة لعدة مرات من Edward James Muggeridge إلى Eduardo Santiago ثم Eadweard بعد الملك إدوارد وعلى التوالي :Muggridge، Muygridge وMuybridge[2]، االى ان اختار إدوارد مويبريدج وقد عرف التصوير فائق السرعة واهميته وشرح كيف حل وفهم العديد من الظواهر العلمية والطبيعية بالإمكانيات المتواضعة المتاحة للإنسان في ذلك الوقت. وهو مكتشف الزوبراكسيسكوب (zoopraxiscope) وهي عبارة عن قرص دائري مع سلسلة من الصور، وعندما يتم تناوب القرص أنه يعطي انطباعا للحركة.
