• مشروع جميل جدا وأتمني أن نبدا في ترجمة الصور الإنجليزية المهمة --محمد مصطفى 10:17، 3 يناير 2008 (UTC)

• أقترح أنه كلما وضعت صورة من أجل تعديلها أو ترجمة محتوياتها أن يقوم من ينوي تعديل الصورة بوضع توقيعه أسفل الصورة وذكر أنه سيقوم بالتعديل وذلك حتى لا يقوم أكثر من شخص بتعديل نفس الصورة--Dr. Agha 21:09، 5 يناير 2008 (UTC)

تحميل أم رفع

• بالبداية أشكركم على فكرة هذه الورشة الرائعة. لكن عندي ملاحظة بسيطة وهي حول ترجمة كلمة upload في الصورة المرافقة ومثيلاتها، إذ تمت ترجمتها هنا تحميل. حسب معلوماتي فكلمة تحميل تشير بالغالب إلى download ، والتي يسميها البعض تنزيل ، وأن الترجمة الأنسب ل upload هي رفع.

ملاحظة: أذكر أني قرأت مرةً نقاشاً حول هذا الموضوع لكن لا أذكر أين . مع جزيل الشكر --سامي 21:51، 5 يناير 2008 (UTC)

أقترح تخصيص صفحة خاصة للصور المطلوب ترجمتها، بحيث لا تظهر في الصفحة الرئيسية للمشروع كما هو الحال الآن.

Proposition for common map conventions announcement

• (إنجليزية) Hello,

I'm a Sémhur, a wikigraphist from the Atelier graphique - the French-speaking ويكيبيديا:ورشة_الصور - and we had a discussion there about the creation of a colorimetric convention for geopolitical and topographic maps for a common use in the Wikimedia project.
Now we make this proposition on Commons talk:Project Mapmaking Wiki Standards (in English).
I invite all Wiki map makers here to take a look at that page and participate so we can harmonize the aspect of our maps, have common conventions and ease their creation.

Note also that I initiated on the same page a discussion about the choice for a recommended projection to be used for world maps.

Last, the cartographic tutorials from Sting are now ended. You can use them, and translate it in Arabic language if you want (they are in French).

Je suis Sémhur, un wikigraphiste de l'Atelier graphique - le ويكيبيديا:ورشة_الصور français - et nous avons une discussion à propos de la création de conventions colorimétriques pour les cartes géopolitiques et topographiques, pour une utilisation commune dans les différents projets Mediawiki.
Cette proposition se trouve sur Commons talk:Project Mapmaking Wiki Standards (en anglais).
J'invite toute personne intéressée par la création de cartes à venir lire cette page et à participer, en vue d'harmoniser l'aspect de nos cartes, avoir des conventions communes et faciliter leur création.

Sur cette même page, il y a aussi une discussion à propos du choix d'une projection recommandée pour les cartes du monde.

Enfin, les didacticiels cartographiques de Sting sont maintenant terminés. Vous pouvez les utiliser, et les traduire en arabe (car ils sont en français).
