== Family ==
Fahad Alahmadi is married to doctor Najat Saeed Alahmadi (child consultant) and has five children, Hosam, Faisal, Raseel, Mayas, and Yasser. His father is Amer Wassel Alahmadi Alharbi, and his mother is Latifah Abdulaziz Abduallah Alsaqabi (from Qassim).

== Life ==
Alahamdi was born in the Eten neighborhood in [[:en:Medina|Medina]] and spent most of his childhood at his uncle Abduallah Alsaqabi house.

== Education ==
He studied elementary in Sayed Alshuhadaa school, middle school in Ibn Khaldoon, and high school in Uhud. After finishing Highschool he moved to study in the United States at [[:en:Hamline_University|Hamline university]], Minnesota.<ref name=":02">[https://fahadalahmdi.blogspot.com/2020/09/?m=1 "An antibiotic for depression" - Abduallah AlMaglouth]</ref> But his education stopped after two years, because governmental scholarships ended by that time, along with how he wasn’t focusing on university as much as getting a patent for an autopilot plane wings. He spoke 9 languages due to his contact with the visitors of the Prophet Mosque (AlMasjid An-nabawi)<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20201129174754if_/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjwJp16DQfo Edha'at With Turki Aldakheel]</ref>.

== Early Beginnings ==
In 1989 he returned from the U.S hands free and started to look for a job.<ref name=":02" /> After spending a while unemployed, he worked in a Qur’an printing press in Medina as a technical inspector, then as managerial worker in Alsamhoodi high school, before moving to work as a director of public information in the Emirate Of Madinah Province in 2004, and finally resigning from government employment in 2006.

One of the reasons for his resignation is that his freelance salary in AlRiyadh newspaper became four times the amount of his official governmental salary. At that time there was not any official position with the title ‘writer’ in the private sector, which made him join AlRiyadh newspaper as a ‘journalist’, and for that he wrote the article titled “Oh Lord, I am a writer”.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20201128130850/https://www.alriyadh.com/283740 “Oh Lord, I am a writer”] - Fahad AlAhmadi, AlRiyad Newspaper</ref>

Writing full-time in AlRiyadh newspaper without having to be there physically was a positive step that allowed him the privilege of having more time to work on publishing his books as well as continuing his tour around the world, as he is also known for his frequent travels and his precedence in visiting unknown places to write about them.<ref>[https://www.alriyadh.com/1536434 The Marvel of Palawn] - Al Riyadh Newspaper</ref><ref>[https://sabq.org/hTgVKt#:~:text=%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%83%D9%85%D8%A9%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AB%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AB%D8%A7%D8%A1%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%82%D8%A8%D9%84-,%22%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%8A%22%20%D9%8A%D9%83%D8%B4%D9%81%20%D9%84%D9%80%22%D8%B3%D8%A8%D9%82%22%20%D8%AA%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%B5%D9%8A%D9%84%20%D8%A5%D9%8A%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%81%D9%87%20%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%87%20%D9%81%D9%8A,%D9%88%D9%85%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%B1%D8%A9%20%D8%A3%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%87%20%D9%88%D9%85%D9%86%D8%B9%D9%87%20%D9%85%D9%86%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%81%D8%B1&text=%D9%88%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%8A%20%D9%84%D9%80%22%D8%B3%D8%A8%D9%82%22%3A,%D8%A8%D9%86%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%8C%20%D9%88%D9%83%D8%A7%D9%86%20%D9%85%D8%B9%D9%8A%20%D9%A2%D9%A1%D9%A9%D9%A0%D9%A0%20%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%B1. Al Ahmadi reveals to Sabaq the details of his arrest and his son in Panama and the confiscation of his money and travel ban]</ref> His attachment to travels began at the age of eight, when he visited Egypt with his uncle for medical treatment, and since that time he decided to see all the worlds' countries before he "becomes old." In 1986, he traveled to America for the purpose of studying, but he seized the opportunity to visit most of its important states. By the end of 2020, he had already finished visiting most countries of the world - and published most of his travels in a picture book entitled "Around the World in 80 Articles."

== Career ==
He is known for his daily column "Around The World." in Al Riyadh newspaper, his articles were distinguished by their cognitive diversity, scientific orientation and exotic nature, and this made Turki Al Sudairi, the former editor-in-chief of Al-Riyadh newspaper, call him "Anis Mansour of Saudi Arabia". Nevertheless, he personally finds his articles closer to the articles of the American writer Isaac Asimov and the British writer Arthur C. Clarke.

Despite his long career in newspapers, Alahmadi started writing at a relatively late stage, where his first known book was published in 2011. Since that date, he published 13 books in various fields (equals to 1.6 book a year). During his government job, Al-Ahmadi also worked as a daily part-time writer in '''AlMadina''' and '''Riyadh newspapers'''. In more than one interview, he stated that he had never thought of becoming a writer or author. However, when he returned from the United States, unemployed, he had nothing to offer but "ideas" and "knowledge" that newspapers were the most suitable place to publish them. Thus, he began writing and submitting articles to newspapers until Mr. Mohamed Hosni Mahjoub agreed to try some of them in the '''AlMadina newspaper'''. Few months later, his articles were published regularly under a daily angle entitled "Around The World", whose title was chosen by the page’s supervisor. The first article under it appeared on 17 August 1991 entitled "Siberia's explosion”.

After spending ten years in '''AlMadina Newspaper''', he received an offer to transfer his column Around The World, to the Riyadh Newspaper under the same title – the first article appeared on 9 September 2006 entitled "A virus that devours/swallows a continent"

On 27 August 2016, the column completed 25 years of continuous daily appearance since it first appeared in AlMadina Newspaper. <ref>{{Cite news

During this period, the writer became a shareholder in the Riyadh newspaper; however, the decline in the popularity of all the print made him think of stopping daily writing and focusing only on writing books. In early 2019, the newspaper decided to use '''piece'''-rate '''pay system''' with the writers instead of giving them a monthly salary, which the writer refused. When the negotiations reached an impasse, the column stopped appearing in the Riyadh Newspaper – and the last article appeared on Tuesday, 5 March 2019.<ref>{{Cite news

== Remarkable Articles ==
Alahmadi's articles exceeded 9500– up until his resignation from the Riyadh newspaper in 2019, while his daily column (on the last page) tackled many political, economic, scientific, and tourism aspects of a religious and social nature. The governmental job and writing on a daily basis prevented Fahad Alahmadi from entering the field of compilation early. Truthfully, in 1997, he tried to publish a book containing his best articles in Almadina Newspaper, but his attempts to distribute the book himself failed truly. He did not repeat the experience for the next 14 years until Dar Twaiq for Publishing and Disturbution offered him in 2011 to reissue the same book in a new way. Then, the book did very well. Since then, 13 books have been published by Alahmadi in different fields, with 1.6 books per year.

In 1986, he traveled to America for the purpose of studying, but he seized the opportunity to visit most of its important states. By the end of 2020, he had already finished visiting most countries of the world - and published most of his travels in a picture book entitled "Around the World in 80 Articles." == Career == He is known for his daily column "Around The World." in Al Riyadh newspaper, his articles were distinguished by their cognitive diversity, scientific orientation and exotic nature, and this made Turki Al Sudairi, the former editor-in-chief of Al-Riyadh newspaper, call him "Anis Mansour of Saudi Arabia". After spending ten years in '''AlMadina Newspaper''', he received an offer to transfer his column Around The World, to the Riyadh Newspaper under the same title – the first article appeared on 9 September 2006 entitled "A virus that devours/swallows a continent" On 27 August 2016, the column completed 25 years of continuous daily appearance since it first appeared in AlMadina Newspaper. <ref>{{Cite news | last = | first = | date = | title = A Quarter Century Passed Since The Appearance of "Around The World" Column | work = Alriyadh Newspaper | url = http://www.alriyadh.com/1526665 | archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20201006154949/http://www.alriyadh.com/1526665 | url-status = live | access-date = | archive-date = 2020-10-06 }}</ref> During this period, the writer became a shareholder in the Riyadh newspaper; however, the decline in the popularity of all the print made him think of stopping daily writing and focusing only on writing books. In early 2019, the newspaper decided to use '''piece'''-rate '''pay system''' with the writers instead of giving them a monthly salary, which the writer refused. ' Fahad Al-Ahmadi معلومات شخصية الميلاد 7 April 1966Medina, Saudi Arabia الجنسية Saudi أبناء 5 الحياة العملية المهنة Columnist Writer Author موظف في Al-Riyadh Al-Madina Al-Eqtisadiah تعديل مصدري - تعديل Fahad Amer Alahmadi, a writer, traveler, media activist and contemporary Saudi author. He was born in Medina on (7 April 1966) and he is one of the most prominent authors who enriched Arabic literature, as his articles equal 50 doctoral dissertations in volume[1] His articles appeared daily on the last pages of Al-Madina newspaper [1](1991-2000), AlRiyadh newspaper [2](2000-2019) and Al Eqtisadiah newspaper [3](2020). Alahmadi is considered a record holder in terms of uninterrupted publishing of articles (since 1991) and also in the number of his publications (9520 articles up to March 2019). He is considered the highest paid writer in the history of Saudi journalism, as his salary reached 56 thousand riyals before his resignation from AlRiyadh newspaper at the beginning of 2020.[4] Cover of author Fahad Al-Ahmadi's book “Around the World in 80 Articles." His father is Amer Wassel Alahmadi Alharbi, and his mother is Latifah Abdulaziz Abduallah Alsaqabi (from Qassim). Life[عدل] Alahamdi was born in the Eten neighborhood in Medina and spent most of his childhood at his uncle Abduallah Alsaqabi house. Education[عدل] He studied elementary in Sayed Alshuhadaa school, middle school in Ibn Khaldoon, and high school in Uhud. After finishing Highschool he moved to study in the United States at Hamline university, Minnesota.[5] But his education stopped after two years, because governmental scholarships ended by that time, along with how he wasn’t focusing on university as much as getting a patent for an autopilot plane wings. He spoke 9 languages due to his contact with the visitors of the Prophet Mosque (AlMasjid An-nabawi)[6]. Early Beginnings[عدل] In 1989 he returned from the U.S hands free and started to look for a job.[5] After spending a while unemployed, he worked in a Qur’an printing press in Medina as a technical inspector, then as managerial worker in Alsamhoodi high school, before moving to work as a director of public information in the Emirate Of Madinah Province in 2004, and finally resigning from government employment in 2006. One of the reasons for his resignation is that his freelance salary in AlRiyadh newspaper became four times the amount of his official governmental salary. At that time there was not any official position with the title ‘writer’ in the private sector, which made him join AlRiyadh newspaper as a ‘journalist’, and for that he wrote the article titled “Oh Lord, I am a writer”.[7] Writing full-time in AlRiyadh newspaper without having to be there physically was a positive step that allowed him the privilege of having more time to work on publishing his books as well as continuing his tour around the world, as he is also known for his frequent travels and his precedence in visiting unknown places to write about them.[8][9] His attachment to travels began at the age of eight, when he visited Egypt with his uncle for medical treatment, and since that time he decided to see all the worlds' countries before he "becomes old." In 1986, he traveled to America for the purpose of studying, but he seized the opportunity to visit most of its important states. By the end of 2020, he had already finished visiting most countries of the world - and published most of his travels in a picture book entitled "Around the World in 80 Articles." Career[عدل] He is known for his daily column "Around The World." in Al Riyadh newspaper, his articles were distinguished by their cognitive diversity, scientific orientation and exotic nature, and this made Turki Al Sudairi, the former editor-in-chief of Al-Riyadh newspaper, call him "Anis Mansour of Saudi Arabia". During his government job, Al-Ahmadi also worked as a daily part-time writer in AlMadina and Riyadh newspapers. Mohamed Hosni Mahjoub agreed to try some of them in the AlMadina newspaper. Few months later, his articles were published regularly under a daily angle entitled "Around The World", whose title was chosen by the page’s supervisor. The first article under it appeared on 17 August 1991 entitled "Siberia's explosion”. After spending ten years in AlMadina Newspaper, he received an offer to transfer his column Around The World, to the Riyadh Newspaper under the same title – the first article appeared on 9 September 2006 entitled "A virus that devours/swallows a continent" On 27 August 2016, the column completed 25 years of continuous daily appearance since it first appeared in AlMadina Newspaper. [10] During this period, the writer became a shareholder in the Riyadh newspaper; however, the decline in the popularity of all the print made him think of stopping daily writing and focusing only on writing books. In early 2019, the newspaper decided to use piece-rate pay system with the writers instead of giving them a monthly salary, which the writer refused. When the negotiations reached an impasse, the column stopped appearing in the Riyadh Newspaper – and the last article appeared on Tuesday, 5 March 2019.[11] Alahmadi stopped writing for newspapers for a year and a half, during which he published two books. Then, he started writing for newspapers again in the Aleqtisadiah newspaper, with two articles per week on the last page, that is still going. Remarkable Articles[عدل] Alahmadi's articles exceeded 9500– up until his resignation from the Riyadh newspaper in 2019, while his daily column (on the last page) tackled many political, economic, scientific, and tourism aspects of a religious and social nature. Because of the articles’ large number and wide diversity, his articles can be accessed from his archive in Alriyadh Newspaper, his personal blog, or his archive in Aleqtisadiah Newspaper Some of his articles published within several years: How Many Did Arabs Kill With Their Own Hands (16 October 2012) Give me an inventor and take all the literary figures (10 June 2012) History: How Will We Write It This Time?
