'<div class="mw-parser-output"><p>&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; The idea which is about cats that they cause infertility was created and expanded in more than 50 year in the past. Most of the people weather they love cats or hate them, weather they are pregnant or not, they will connect the idea of the infertility with cats in their minds. The true idea about cats and infertility are all about the litter box of the cat, and the only way that can makes us believe that the litter box is the problem, is when the cat is outside the house all the time and it might eat dirty things also, it might get the Toxoplasmosis parasite which cause problems to fetus if the woman is pregnant, there is a low chance to affect un-pregnant women. The truth of the Toxoplasmosis parasite doesn’t mean to get rid of the cat if the woman is pregnant, the mine idea is to wear gloves while cleaning the litter box or let someone clean it instead. </p><p>The infertility idea was created by the culture that is surrounding the people, if the idea of cats connected to infertility is spread all over the culture, the people will get the idea and connect it to cats forever. And if the idea of the infertility connected with cats is not spread, the people wouldn’t connect the idea to cats. </p><p>Animals in general have some diseases that can effect on people but it’s not dangerous, cats are included. There are a lot of diseases and we most differ between them and know which diseases that can effect on people which will cause some problems and which are not. There are known and famous diseases that can effect human being, we can identify them in simple examples just like, cat’s scratch disease, toxoplasmosis, cat’s bites and eye infection. All of them are not danger or deadly and we can heal them in a short time. Eye infection can be easy healed by a medical ointment for the people and for cats also. About the cat’s scratch disease, we know that cats have microbes in her mouth and if a cat owner was attacked toughly by his cat it can cause a flu for him, it’s not easy to be healed, Because the microbes spread all over the owner’s body, but it can be healed only by a vet help. In the other hand it’s not deadly at all. </p><p>The most important thing to do is to prevent yourself and your cat. We all should know that the dirty the cat is the more disease it has. But also we have to keep in mind that cats are in need for our care, they can’t take care of their selves, they have limits. Here are some examples of cats that was abandoned and homeless, some warm heart people rescue them. </p><p>They can be totally changed. </p><p>&#160;If we are forced to deal with the homeless cats that nobody is taking care of it or for example if we want to adopt a homeless kitten, we have to be careful and we most know cat’s body language so we can understand if the cat is about to attack us, scared, if she want some food or even if the cat want to cuddle. The following picture will explain cat’s body language. </p><p>Even though many people believe that cats cause infertility, they don’t have any evidence to prove their idea. The one idea people have is that, cats in general can cause infertility. </p> <pre>The most important thing that people skip to know is, not all of cats can cause infertility, the truth is that the un-cleaned and unhealthy cats are the only to cause infertility, the parasite (Toxoplasma gondii) is the disease that cause infertility and it can move from cat’s body to the women’s body, the parasite is not very effective, because 30% to 40% of women have that have the parasite in their body, they have a natural antihistamines, and it can destroy the parasite. In other hand, 60% to 70% don’t have the parasite and also don’t have the antihistamines. </pre> <pre>I’ve mentioned before the toxoplasmosis disease and I mentioned that it’s not danger or deadly. Toxoplasmosis gondii only cause mental and physical disability for the baby, some sciences believe that” the Toxoplasmosis gondii has a strong relation with cats but it has no relation with infertility, but, it can cause a dangerous mental and physical problems just like, blindness.” </pre> <pre>The toxoplasmosis parasite can attach people only in limited way, before we talk about the ways, there is an important point about the disease, it can affect the cat only if the cat is allowed to eat unhealthy food, just like, a dirty mice and birds that already are effected by the parasite, or also the food from the garbage. </pre> <p>Toxoplasmosis gondii parasite that people knew as it can cause infertility. The truth is that the disease can change the behavior of its host which is the fetal. Studies have demonstrated that the toxoplasmosis parasite is usually effect rats and when that rat is eaten by the cat, the parasite get inside the primary host which is the cat. After it the effected cat can move the parasite to human being by several way that I will mention later. Toxoplasmosis gondii can cause so many damages just like, blood transfusion, organ transplantation, consuming undercooked meat that is infected, Ingesting water, dirt, or anything that has been contaminated with cat feces. </p><p>So, the toxoplasmosis don’t cause infertility, it cause disabilities to the fetal weather the disability is mental or physical. </p> <pre>There are several ways that the parasite can move or effect the women by. First, is by swallowing the parasite after the women touched the excrement of the cat, for example, when she clean her litter box without washing her hand or wearing gloves. </pre> <pre>When the women touched the letter box and after it she touch some vegetables and fruits without washing her hand. Drink from uncleaned water that was effected by the parasite. Eating meats which were affect by the parasite, because it didn’t cooked very well, especially pig’s meat. Eating food which was had been touched by uncleaned materials that used to cut the effective meat. The doctors said that’ the pregnant woman that is effective by the parasite, might affected her fetal, even though that the pregnant women don’t show any reaction that would prove that she has the Toxoplasmosis parasite in her body, but in other hand, the fetal is in a very danger condition. </pre> <pre>However, the fetal would be in a danger condition only if the woman was effected during her pregnancy, but the woman who gets the parasite before her pregnancy, her fetal will be in a good condition because of the antihistamines that she has in her body will protect her. </pre> <p>So, the main problem we have here is when the cat is used to eat a dirty food, mice or birds, and her letter box is not cleaned, if we kept it clean, washed our hands after we touch it, we will be in the save side. The community and the culture are one of the main reasons that makes people believe in any ideas without known the truth or find evidence to prove that they are true. People who know wide information about cats, know the true idea. </p><p>Even though that cats may cause some dangerous diseases but the main point that we can avoid these diseases from the previous paragraph, also the cats that cause that kind of disease are those cats who eats dirty food that makes it easy for the parasite to inter their bodies.
