9-1-1 هو رقم هاتف الطوارئ الموحد المستخدم في عدة دول مثل كندا، كوستاريكا، السلفادور، الأردن، ليبيريا، باراغواي، أوروغواي، والولايات المتحدة

في الكثير من بلدان العالم هناك في شبكة الهاتف العامة رقم للطوارئ يسمح للناس بالاتصال بخدمات الطوارئ المحلية لطلب المساعدة. أرقام هواتف الطوارئ تختلف من بلد إلى آخر، وهو عادة ما يكون مكون من ثلاثة أرقام بحيث يمكن أن تتذكر بسهولة وليتم الاتصال بها بأقصى سرعة ممكنة.

 United Kingdom 999 or 112 In 2006 101 was made available as a non-emergency number for police (and in some areas local authorities) in England and Wales. 111 was made available (in England and Wales) as a non-emergency number for health issues. 999 and 112 can be used from any phone. When dialing 999 or 112, the caller is connected with a telecoms operator such as BT, Cable & Wireless, Railnet, or Kingston Communications, and the operator will ask which service is required. Operators have access to interpretation services covering 170 languages. Deaf people can text 18000 for the emergency services (after registration). 999 was first introduced on the 30th June 1937 in London.
