English: Mireukjeon (Mireukjeon Hall of Geumsansa Temple), housing a large Mireuksa Buddha (Buddha of the Future), is a three story wooden building, unique among Korean Buddhist halls, (re-)constructed in 1635. Each floor has its own name; the first floor is called Daejabojeon (Hall of Great Mercy and Treasure), the second floor Yonghwajihoe (Gathering of Dragon and Beauty) and the third floor Mireukjeon (Hall of Maitreya). Geumsansa s a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. It stands on the slopes of Moak-san in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. The temple was constructed in 599. Several national treasures of South Korea are located on the temple grounds including a detailed lotus-shaped stone pedestal from the 10th century.
