Regulations of the Panama Railroad.

The regular trains are dispatched daily, Sundays excepted, from Aspinwall to Panama and from Panama to Aspinwall, as per time-table annexed:

Besides these regular trains, special trains are always employed whenever the services can not be adequately performed by the regular trains. There are often as many as five and six in number daily for weeks together.

Steamer Trains.—On the arrival of passenger steam-ships at Aspinwall, special trains are dispatched at any hour, so soon as the passengers are landed, provided for the connecting steam-ship immediately on the arrival of the trains. This arrangement has been made solely with a view of affording to the passenger the greatest degree of comfort and convenience consistent with dispatch. To those unacquainted with the cause, it may sometimes appear that time is unnecessarily lost: the Company only consults the interest of the passenger in this respect, and no detention is allowed beyond what is absolutely necessary. On the arrival of passenger steam-ships at Panama, the trains are dispatched for Aspinwall immediately on the landing of the passengers, who here step from the steamer directly into cars with detention.

هذا العمل يقع في النَّطاق العامّ في بلد المنشأ وفي البلدان الأخرى والمناطق التي تمتدُّ فيها مدة حقوق التَّأليف والنشر لتغطي زمن حياة المُؤلِّف و 70 سنةً بعد وفاته أو أقل من ذلك. أنتَ أيضاً مُلزمٌ بتضمين وسم النَّطاق العامّ لتحديد السبب الَّذي يجعلُ من هذا العمل مِلكيَّةً عامةً في الولايات المُتحدة الأمريكيَّة انتبه إلى أن قلةً من البلدان لديها بنودٌ لحقوق التَّأليف والنشر تمتد لمدةٍ أطول من 70 عام: هذه المُدّة هي 100 عام في المكسيك و95 عام في جامايكا و80 عام في كولومبيا و75 عام في غواتيمالا وساموا. ولذلك فإنَّ هذه الصُّورة قد لا تكون في النَّطاق العامّ في هذه البلدان، بالإضافة لكون حكم الفترة الأقصر غيرَ نافذٍ فيها. لدى ساحل العاج بندٌ عام لحقوق التَّأليف والنَّشر يمتدُّ حتَّى 99 عاماً وهو 75 عاماً في هندوراس، ولكن حكم الفترة الأقصر نافذٌ هناك. قد تشمل حقوق التَّأليف والنشر الأعمال المُنجزة من قبل فرنسيين توفوا في فرنسا خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية (للمزيد أنظر هنا)، أو روس خدموا في الجبهة الشرقية في الحرب العالمية الثانية (المعروفة باسم الحرب الوطنية العظمى في روسيا) وضحايا عمليات إعادة التأهيل في عمليات القمع في الاتحاد السوفياتي (للمزيد أنظر هنا).
