ألان جون بيرسيفال تايلور (Alan John Percival Taylor)، زميل الأكاديمية البريطانية (25 مارس 1906 – 7 سبتمبر 1990) كان أحد المؤرخين البريطانيين الذين تخصَّصوا في سرد تاريخ الدبلوماسية الأوروبية في القرنَين التاسع عشر والعشرين. اشتهر تايلور بين الملايين بكونه مراسلاً صحفيًا ومذيعًا من خلال محاضراته التي يلقيها في التليفزيون. استطاع تايلور أن يجمع بين الصرامة الأكاديمية والجاذبية الشعبية مما جعل المؤرخ ريتشارد أوفري (Richard Overy) يصفه بأنه "ماكولي هذا العصر".
