Al-Amluk tribe in the Pre-Islamic era[عدل]

[1] The Al-Amluk tribe is from one of the Radman tribes, and the Radman people were mentioned a lot in the inscriptions, and the Radman tribes were in alliance with Khawlan . The Radman tribes supported their cousins in the Kingdom of Qataban in their war against the Kingdom of Sheba .

[1] Radman belongs to none other than Dhul Ra’in the Elder, who is the Himyarite King Yarim, who established the Kingdom of Ra’in. The Kingdom of Ra’in was similar to the mother of the Great Himyar Kingdom, and from the Kingdom of Ra’in, which extended from Yarim Ibb in the north to Yafa’ in the south, it began to unify the Yemeni kingdoms, and the Ra’iniyah tribes united with the Raydan tribes and established the first Himyar kingdom, known as the Kingdom of Dhu Raydan, after the famous Raydan Palace in Dhofar, Ibb .

The Amluk tribe in early Islam[عدل]

[2] In the early days of Islam, the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent Muadh bin Jabal to Qayyal Himyar, inviting them to Islam. So they sent books except the Messenger announcing their Islam. The Messenger responded to Aqyal Himyar, and among them was Al- Nu`man .

[3] Al-Tabari narrated that they answered the Prophet (may God bless him and his family) and embraced Islam. He said: « The book of the Kings of Himyar was presented to the Messenger of God in the month of Ramadan, professing Islam with their messenger , Al-Harith bin Abd Kalal, Naeem bin Abd Kalal, and Al-Nu`man, who was said to be Dhu Ra’in. Introduction from Tabuk » (Tarikh al-Tabari : 2/318), so the Prophet (may God bless him and his family) sent some of his companions to teach them Islam, and wrote letters with them ( Ibn Hisham : 4/1010, and al-Tabari : 2/382).

He also wrote 'to Banu Amr from Himyar. ( Layers : 1 / 265).

And to Amluk Radman

[4] It was narrated on the authority of Muadh bin Jabal that he wrote to the Messenger of God a letter in which he said (I fought against those who disobeyed me from Algnad the people of Yemen with a group of Ash’ar and slaves). Yafa, Al-Asabah, Khawlan, and Al-Sakisk.

On the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: Shall I not inform you of the best of tribes?

We said: Yes, O Messenger of God!

He said: Sakask and sukoon are Kinda, Al-Amluk; Amluk Radman, a section of the Ash'aris, and a section of Khawlan.

Among the close companions , Hasban bin Hudhayfah al-Ra’ini .

Islamic conquests[عدل]

[5] The Amluk tribes participated in the Islamic conquests, and they were under the leadership of the companion Dhu al-Kalaa al-Himyari in the conquests and the liberation of the Levant from the Romans. The Amluk tribes participated in the conquests until the arrival of Andalusia and Qatno (archidona) along with the rest of the tribes of Dhu Ra'in.
