My name is Ting-Yi (Elisa) Chang. I am originally from Taipei, Taiwan and am currently pursuing my International Development Studies BA at the University of Toronto Scarborough, Canada. Between June 2016 and June 2017, I had shortly lived in Bangalore, India, working with The Centre for Internet and Society (CIS). During the year in India, I was researching on the Wikipedia gender gap alongside the CIS-A2K team.

My Work
Between June 2016 and June 2017, I was working as an intern at the Centre for Internet and Society, Bangalore to do action research on the Wikipedia Gender Gap issues in Indian Wikipedia contexts. For more information, you may visit the CIS website (link under See more), or check out the annual reports and grant proposal on CIS-A2K's meta page. I will be completing a thesis on the said topic throughout my last year of study (Fall 2016 - Winter 2017 school year). The thesis is expected to be completed by March 2017.
我曾在邦加羅爾的非營利組織─網路與社會中心 (Centre for Internet and Society) 擔任實習生,研究知識通路 (Access to Knowledge) 與(印度語言)維基百科的性別差距問題。更多資訊請參閱CIS組織官網 或至CIS-A2K's meta page。
