الدكتور أحمد حسن هو أستاذ هندسة الحاسبات والنظم المساعد بجامعة عين شمس. عمل كمدير لمشروع تطوير نظم وتكنولوجيا المعلومات ICTP بوحدة إدارة المشروعات بوزارة التعليم العالي منذ 1 يوليو 2012 وشغل قبلها منصب نائب مدير المشروع منذ 22 يوليو 2008. كما كان مؤسس شركة توب آي تي التي كانت تعمل بمجال التدريب والاستشارات في تكنولوجيا المعلومات منذ عام 2000.

يشمل عمل أحمد حسن التطوعي بجمعية مهندسي الاتصالات والإلكترونيات والكهرباء كأمين عام وعضو بمجلس إدارتها بمصر منذ 2012.

حصل أحمد حسن على درجة الدكتوراه والماجستير والبكالوريوس من جامعة عين شمس أعوام 2004، 2000، 1995 على الترتيب.
