متلازمة الالتهابات المتعددة في الأطفال (تُعرف أيضًا باسم "متلازمة الالتهابات متعددة النظم للأطفال")، وهو مرض يشبه مرض كاواساكي تم ملاحظته في الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا بعد التعرض للفيروس المسؤول عن كوفيد-19.^[1]^[2]^[3]

مرض كاواساكي، مرض نادر مجهول المنشأ يصيب الأطفال الصغار، حيث تلتهب الأوعية الدموية في جميع أنحاء الجسم.^[4]

متلازمة الاستجابة الالتهابية الجهازية، التهاب يصيب الجسم كله استجابة لمسبب معدي أو غير معدي.^[5]

مرض الالتهاب المتعدد الأنظمة حديثي الولادة، وهو مرض التهاب جيني نادر يسبب الالتهاب الجهازي غير المنضبط منذ الطفولة المبكرة.^[6]
