Saud bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani was born on the seventh of July, 1978. He is an advisor at the Saudi Royal Court at A Minster Rank and the General Supervisor of the Center of Studies and Media Affairs at the Royal Court. He worked as a former legal advisor at the late Crown Prince Office, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, in 2003 and an advisor for several chiefs of the Royal Court. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree from the College of Law at King Saud University. Later he earned a Master’s Degree with Honor in the field of Criminal Justice from Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences as well as other specialized and scientific certificates in the fields of Law and Management. He is an opinion writer for a number of Saudi magazines and newspapers, a social media activist and among top influential Twitter figures in Saudi Arabia.

Early life and education[عدل]

Al-Qahtani was born on the 7th of June 1978 in the city of Riyadh to a family that is known for leading Al-Wahhabah tribe. He received his primary education in Riyadh schools, completed his secondary education at Model Institute of the Capital and was among the top ten students in Riyadh region. Then, he joined King Saud University and received a Bachelor Degree in Law. He then joined the course of training officers in the Royal Saudi Air Force. He graduated with an excellent and honor degrees and was promoted to the rank of Captain at King Faisal Air College. After that, he became an employee at the Crown Prince's Court. He received his master's degree with honor in criminal justice from Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. He was also known as a leading political and social writer in a number of Saudi newspapers such as Al-Sharq Al-Awsat and Al-Riyadh prior to working at the Royal Court. He also has several excellent researches in law.

  • Advisor at the Royal Court at the Excellence Rank in addition to the tasks entrusted to him, 2012.
  • General Supervisor of the Center for Studies and Media Affairs at the Royal Court flowing the merger of Courts.
  • Advisor at the Royal Court at a Minster Rank in addition to the tasks entrusted to him, 2015.
  • President of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming, 2017.
