كتار أو كتارا ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] هو نوع من أنواع خناجر الدفع من شبه القارة الهندية . ^[4] يتميز السلاح بقبضته اليدوية الأفقية على شكل حرف H والتي ينتج عنها وضع الشفرة فوق مفاصل أصابع المستخدم. وهو أشهر الخناجر الهندية وأكثرها تميزًا. ^[5] كما استُخدمت الكتارات الاحتفالية في العبادة. ^[6]
