مانفريد بيتاك هو عالم آثار نمساوي. وهو أستاذ فخري لعلم المصريات في جامعة فيينا، ويعمل باحثًا رئيسيًا في مشروع مجلس البحوث الأوروبي ERC "لغز الهكسوس The Hyksos Enigma" ورئيس تحرير مجلة "مصر والمشرق" (Ägypten und Levante) وأربع سلاسل أخرى في الأكاديمية النمساوية للعلوم، معهد الآثار الشرقية والأوروبية (2016-2020).
