جورج بيتر شورش إيدر (8 مارس 1921 - 11 مارس 1986) طيارًا مقاتلًا ألمانيًا في لوفتفافه خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية. حصل على وسام الفارس الصليبي الحديدي بأوراق البلوط لألمانيا النازية. طار إيدر 572 مهمة قتالية مدعيا 78 طائرة معادية أسقطت في المجموع. كان هداف اليوم الأول ضد القاذفات ذات بأربعة محركات، ب56 انتصارًا جويًا، كان الآسرة الرائدة ضد القوات الجوية الأمريكية.

الحياة المبكرة والوظيفي

ولد إيدر في 8 مارس 1921 في أوبردآخشتيتن في بافاريا. بعد انضمامه إلى Grundschule، وهي مدرسة ابتدائية، وOberrealschule، وهي مدرسة ثانوية، انضم إلى الخدمة العسكرية في لوفتفافه في 15 نوفمبر 1939. أُرسل إلى 4. Kompanie (السرية الرابعة) لFliegerausbildungsregiment 62 (62nd Flight Training Regiment) في كفيدلينبورغ في منطقة هارز، ثم حضر Luftkriegsschule 2 ‏ (LKS   2- مدرسة الحرب الجوية الثانية) ببرلين - جاتو. في 1 أبريل 1940 ، تم قبوله كفاننيونكر ( فاننيونكر ). أثناء تدريب الطيران، تمت ترقيته إلى فانريش (ضابط عسكري) في 1 سبتمبر 1940.
