مثالان بارزان على رحلات فلسطين، يفصل بينهما 1500 سنة تقريبًا.

رحلات فلسطين هي سجلات أو وصفات لرحلات وزيارات إلى فلسطين التي قام بها مسافرون ومستكشفون وأدباء ورحالة عبر العصور، ولا سيما قبل القرن العشرين. تمثل هذه الأعمال مصدرًا هامًا لفهم التاريخ والثقافة والجغرافيا والأدب والسياسة والدين في فلسطين. وتشمل هذه الرحلات الوصفات الجغرافية والثقافية والدينية والأدبية والتاريخية والسياسية، تهدف هذه الرحلات إلى توثيق ووصف واستكشاف المنطقة وثقافتها وتاريخها ومعالمها، وكذلك تحليل الظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية في الوقت الذي كتبت فيه هذه الرحلات.

نشر إدوارد روبنسون دراسات استقصائية عن الأدبيات الجغرافية عن فلسطين في عام 1841، [1] وفعل كذلك تيتوس توبلر في عام 1867، [2] وفيما بعد بواسطة رينهولد روريخت في عام 1890.[3] فهرس روريخت 177 عملاً بين عامي 333 - 1300، و19 عملاً في القرن الرابع عشر، و279 عملاً في القرن الخامس عشر، و333 عملاً في القرن السادس عشر، و390 في القرن السابع عشر، و318 في القرن الثامن عشر، و1915 عملاً في القرن التاسع عشر.[4]

بإجمالي يزيد عن 3000 كتاب ومواد أخرى تفصل رحلات المسافرين الأوروبيين والأمريكيين إلى فلسطين العثمانية.[5] زاد عدد سرد الرحلات المنشورة خلال القرن التاسع عشر، وكثيرًا ما تم الاستشهاد بانطباعات المسافرين حول فلسطين في القرن التاسع عشر في تاريخ المنطقة وتأريخها، على الرغم من تساؤلات حول دقتهم وحياديتهم في العصر الحديث.[5][6]
