  • للوصف الكامل الخاص بالقالب — انقر على اسم القالب
  • الحقول المطلوبة مشار إليها بالخط الغليظ
  • قم بنسخ ولصق النص تحت خانة "الاستخدام الشائع" لاستعمال القالب
  • يتبع كل مثال نص المقالة الناتج.

استخدام قوالب الاقتباس ليس مطلوبًا من قبل WP:CITE ولا يتم تشجيعه ولا تثبيطه بواسطة أي إرشادات استشهاد أخرى من ويكيبيديا. يمكن استخدامها وفقًا لتقدير المحررين الفرديين، بشرط الاتفاق مع المحررين الآخرين على المقالة. يجدها بعض المحررين مفيدة، بينما يجدها المحررون الآخرون مزعجة، لا سيما عند استخدامها مضمنة في النص. لأنها اختيارية، يجب على المحررين ألا يغيروا المقالات من نمط إلى آخر دون إجماع.
